The Dragonistas participate in FUN regattas and national and international championships in the BCS (Breast Cancer Survivors) category – with great success: they won three gold medals at the European Club Crew Championships in Seville in 2019. This requires perseverance, enthusiasm and a strong focus on goals.

They show exactly the same strength when it comes to speaking openly about their breast cancer therapy and the time between and after. And also about the consequences of the disease for each individual. Thuasne has therefore been supporting the activities of the PINK DRAGONISTAS since March 2021. After all, paddling – and sport in general – is more than just fun, especially in groups of like-minded people. It also has medically proven positive effects on the mind and body. Especially during and after cancer therapy. Sport can promote the healing process! And dragon boat paddling is suitable for all phases of the disease.
